Sara Blaylock to begin tenure-track position in Art History at the University of Minnesota - Duluth

Duluth
June 26, 2017

Sara Blaylock, who has just defended and filed her dissertation, will begin as an Assistant Professor of Art History in the Department of Art and Design at the University of Minnesota - Duluth in August 2017. Sara will be teaching courses on 19th and early 20th c. modern European and modern American art, as well as on topics more directly related to her research on art in the Eastern Bloc. She is really excited about the quality and mission of the Department of Art and Design and the intersectionality of art and practice that defines it. She is inspired by the progressive spirit of the whole campus, and she loves the city of Duluth, which is close to family and friends.
