The exhibition centers around textiles focusing on Santa Cruz citizens and their efforts for the sake of World War II. It is divided between home and abroad with an emphasis on how they were linked via rationing. Featured in our exhibition will be audio interviews and objects you can interact with.
The Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History is providing a space for UCSC students to create an exhibition. We, the UCSC students, have been involved in a three-part class series about museums under the HAVC department. These classes have given us a greater understanding of museum culture and practice. This is our chance to show off all the hard work we have done throughout the year and we would like you to enjoy it as well!
