Cameroonian Philosopher Dr. Ajume Wingo: Africa and the Aesthetics of Democracy

A free, public lecture by Dr. Ajume H. Wingo, a key figure in the study of philosophy, art, creativity, social policy, and education in Africa and the U.S As a philosopher, Dr. Wingo argues that closer attention to Africans' capacity for originality yields useful insights into Africa's disappointing economic past and may help us understand what must be done to build a better future beyond capitalism. To this end he explores the fountainhead of human creativity and aesthetic influence on the polis.
