Celeste DeWald (B.A. ’92) has worked in the museum field since she graduated from UCSC, including positions at the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of African Art, the San Jose Museum of Art, the Museum of Art and History in Santa Cruz, and the National Steinbeck Center. Celeste has a Master's Degree in Museums Studies from John F. Kennedy University. She became Executive Director of CAM in May 2004 and has enjoyed being an advocate for museums and helping them become more relevant and effective organizations.
