Ondine Chavoya is Professor of Art and Latina/o Studies at Williams College and is the author of numerous texts on Chicano avant-garde art, video, experimental cinema, and social space in southern California. Ondine received his interdisciplinary training in visual and cultural studies, art history, film theory, literature, and gender studies from University of Rochester, Cornell University, and University of California at Santa Cruz. He earned his Ph.D. in Visual and Cultural Studies from the University of Rochester in 2002.
