Fallin Steffen (B.A. '10) completed a Masters degree in Preservation Studies from Tulane University in New Orleans in 2015. She moved back to the Santa Cruz area to start her own small business, Sequoia Preservation Works, which offers historic architecture consultation and historic materials analysis services to the Monterey Bay area. In addition to this, she was appointed to the Santa Cruz city Historic Preservation Commission and works to help preserve some of the architectural gems in this area.
