Alex Moore and Tatiane Santa Rosa join the UCSC Institute of the Arts and Sciences Team

The UCSC Institute of the Arts and Sciences (IAS) has recently welcomed two Visual Studies PhD alumni into their team. Alexandra Moore (PhD Visual Studies, 2023) returned to the IAS as program manager for An Aesthetics of Resilience, a new collaborative art and science initiative looking at climate vulnerabilities and resilience. Previously, Alex worked as a curatorial fellow at the IAS on projects including Barring Freedom and Solitary Garden. Tatiane Santa Rosa (PhD Visual Studies, 2023) joined the IAS as Visualizing Abolition’s program manager, working on public events, artist commissions, exhibitions, postdoctoral fellowships, and the Visualizing Abolition Studies Certificate Program.
