Professor T. J. Demos Provides Keynote at UCLA Art History Graduate Symposium, “In Crisis”

On October 18th, 2024, Professor T. J. Demos provided the keynote address at the 59th Annual UCLA Art History Graduate Symposium, “In Crisis.” Prof. Demos spoke about the war on Gaza, academic censorship, and repression of free speech in the US, the title of his talk being “A Hole the Size of Poetry: On the Crisis of Speech and Meaning in the Arts Today.”
