Amber Hickey to present a paper for the Inuit Studies Conference in St. Johns, Newfoundland and Labrador

Amber Hickey will present a paper for the 20th Biennial Inuit Studies Conference at Memorial University in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. The paper, "Reclaiming Identities: Naming and Community Sovereignty," focuses on recent Inuit-led creative projects that reclaim and repurpose former symbols of colonial violence in the North into visions of sovereign Inuit resurgence.
