Lorraine was one of two recipients of the CGTF in the HAVC department. Her proposal was to teach a course entitled "Activist Art in Mexico," to be offered in Spring 2016. Based on Lorraine's dissertation research, this course covers the visual culture of social movements in Mexico from the Mexican Revolution to the current protests around the disappearance of 43 students from Ayotzinapa Normal School in Guerrero.
