Sara Blaylock awarded the College Art Association's Professional Development Fellowship in Art History

January 26, 2017

The College Art Association has just awarded Sara Blaylock its Professional Development Fellowship in Art History. This program supports promising artists, designers, craftspersons, historians, curators, and critics who are enrolled in MFA, PhD, and other terminal degree programs nationwide. Fellows are honored with $10,000 grants to help them with various aspects of their work, whether it be for job-search expenses or purchasing materials for the studio. CAA believes a grant of this kind, without contingencies, can best facilitate the transition between graduate studies and professional careers.

This year CAA has awarded one practitioner—an artist, designer, and/or craftsperson—and one art, architecture, and/or design historian, curator, or critic with its fellowships.
