The HAVC Department is pleased to welcome Assistant Professor Yve Chavez! Yve's research interests include art and visual culture of the Indigenous Americas and Latin America, visual and material culture of Native California, art and architecture of the California missions and Spanish colonial borderlands, and collecting and representing Native American cultures.
