Dr. Aaron Kerner (B.A. '94) is Professor of Cinema at San Francisco State University. In 2011 he published Film and the Holocaust (Continuum)–an extensive survey of narrative, documentary and experimental representations of the Holocaust. His book Torture Porn In the Wake of 9/11 (Rutgers University Press) was published in 2015 and examines the post-9/11 American horror genre. In the following year he published Extreme Cinema (Edinburgh University Press).
