Thanks to the support of the Arts Division Dean’s Fund for Excellence, four of our students were supported with a Dissertation Summer Fellowship this year: fifth-year students Brinker Ferguson and Aubrey Hobart, and fourth-year students Amanda Maples and Jordan Reznick. Only students who have advanced to candidacy are eligible to apply for this fellowship and may receive it once during their Ph.d. studies. The fellowship provides $5,000 to each successful applicant, in order to cover their research-related expenses and assist them in earning their degree within normative time.
