Julia Kane (B.A. '13) accepted a position as a City Year Corps Member in Los Angeles from 2013-14. Following her year of service with City Year in South Los Angeles, Julia began teaching 7th grade Social Studies and English Language Arts. She graduated from UCLA with a Master's in Urban Education in 2016. She is a social justice educator, seeking to transform public education by ensuring equitable access to interdisciplinary arts education.
